The City’s portal doesn’t give you the option to say you oppose demolition of the center, instead asking for comments on how best to perform their demolition plans. But you can get around this.
On the portal, though it says you’re only required to provide information about who you are, it may actually require you to answer other questions in order for your response to go through. Answer whichever questions you feel comfortable responding to, but be sure to go to Question 7 under “Tony Dapolito Outdoor Pool” at the top, and write the following under “Other,” as well as under “Additional Comments” at the bottom:
I adamantly oppose demolishing the landmarked Tony Dapolito Recreation Center and am outraged the City wants to use $52 million approved by the City Council to destroy it. Use that money and the unused $120 million already allocated for repairs to fix and reopen the Center.

You can add any additional comments there as well.
