Vote NO on Ballot Questions 2-4 — Help Defeat Mayor Adams’ Destructive Charter Revision Proposals

Mayor Adams’ proposed changes to the NYC constitution, in the form of Ballot Questions 2-4, would damage affordability, democracy, and healthy neighborhoods. Portrayed as a way to “streamline” necessary and desirable projects, they would actually allow a huge range of developments, including massive super-luxury housing, corporate office towers, hotels, upscale shopping, and more — all in residential neighborhoods. It would remove not only oversight but also opportunities to demand health and infrastructure investments that support the new development, deeper and broader affordability, and right-sizing of proposed developments, as well as the chance to reject bad ones. A multimillion-dollar campaign is being waged to pass the measures, which would be almost impossible to reverse once approved.

We’ve put together a variety of resources, from a webinar to FAQ, explaining what these deceptively worded ballot questions would do, and a variety of materials you can share — from social media assets to printable flyers (also here) to to videos (also here).
