This program is part of Village Preservation’s Semiquincentennial series of programs celebrating our Revolutionary Village. Revolutionary Village not only celebrates the founding of our country, but the exceptional role our neighborhoods played in its development and the realization of its ideals over the last 250 years and beyond.

Join us for this unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of the Keith Haring Foundation. The mission of the Keith Haring Foundation is to sustain, expand, and protect the legacy of Keith Haring, his art, and his ideals. The Foundation supports not-for-profit organizations that assist children, as well as organizations involved in education, prevention, and care related to AIDS.

The Foundation maintains a collection of art along with archives that facilitate historical research about the artist and the times and places in which he lived and worked. This will be a chance to see some items from the archive covering Haring’s life and work.
