PAST HEARING/MEETING DATES and DECISIONS

LPC Public Hearing – July 28th, 2026

Closed / Approved: The approved scope of work includes the replacement of the windows on the north (East 10th Street) and east (Avenue A) elevations. The existing vinyl windows are not original / not historic components of the building, and the replacement windows will be of aluminum and will not disturb the adjacent historic brick molds that are presently wrapped in aluminum.

Community Board 3 Meeting – June 23rd, 2026

CB Resolution recommended: Approval of the replacement of the deteriorated non-historic vinyl windows with aluminum windows identical in color on the north and east side of the building.

Please note: At this time, all LPC public hearings and meetings are hybrid. Members of the public may participate in-person at the LPC Hearing Room, 253 Broadway, Second Floor, or virtually via Zoom and YouTube. For a video tutorial on how to participate virtually, click HERE.

View the video after a LPC hearing concludes: Videos of past LPC Hearings and Meetings can be found on their YouTube page. The LPC posts these videos about a week after the presentation. Videos include the applicant’s presentation, public testimony (for hearings only), and deliberation by the LPC commissioners.
