PAST HEARING/MEETING DATES and DECISIONS

LPC Public Meeting – April 7th, 2026
APPROVED WITH MODIFICATIONS: That the applicants work with staff to refine the detailing, specifically configuration, color, and materiality of the gasket piece between the historic buildings and the new building.

LPC Public Meeting – March 24th, 2026
LAID OVER

LPC Public Hearing – January 24th, 2026
No Action: Five commissioners voted in favor of approval, one was opposed. A minimum of six commissioners are required for a majority vote, so this project will return to a future public meeting when additional commissioners are present.

Community Board 2 Meeting – February 12th, 2026
CB Resolution Recommends: Denial of this application as an unwelcome intrusion into a landmark district from a building in a “carve out” portion of the district that has admittedly made no effort to be harmonious with the district.

Please note: At this time, all LPC public hearings and meetings are hybrid. Members of the public may participate in-person at the LPC Hearing Room, 253 Broadway, Second Floor, or virtually via Zoom and YouTube. For a video tutorial on how to participate virtually, click HERE.

View the video after a LPC hearing concludes: Videos of past LPC Hearings and Meetings can be found on their YouTube page. The LPC posts these videos about a week after the presentation. Videos include the applicant’s presentation, public testimony (for hearings only), and deliberation by the LPC commissioners.
