CB resolution recommended:
A. Approval of converting the ground floor to a residential entry with windows, restoration of the

to improve the overall appearance and to better enhance the width and height of the front façade with
possible variations in window heights, and the addition of a cornice above the first floor; and
B. Denial of the lighting fixture and the iron work and that they be in the style and design suitable to
the period; and
C. Approval of the bluestone sidewalk and the enlargement of the tree pit; and
D. Approval of the masonry reconstruction of the rear facade, the upper floor punched windows and
the cornice; and
E. Denial of the rear façade windows at the basement, parlor, and second floor levels and that there be
a clear separation between the parlor and second floor level, and other elements to break up the
overwhelming three-story window appearance; and
F. Approval of the bulkhead if it is reduced in bulk to the maximum extent possible including that the
ceiling height is minimal according to code; and
G. Approval of the patio provided that the excavation leaves a minimum 5’-0” buffer at the rear
property line; and
H. Approval for the excavation provided that diligent care is taken to ensure the integrity of the
property and the adjacent properties, and that all applicable regulations are followed.
